Anthony Found Safe
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — A positive update out of Cumberland County — 14-year-old Anthony Autry, who had been reported missing since late October, has been found safe, according to local advocates and officials.
Anthony was first reported missing on October 22, 2025, after he disappeared while reportedly taking out the trash at his foster home, according to A Voice For The Voiceless, Inc.
Authorities say Anthony’s safe recovery brings relief to both law enforcement and the community, which had been sharing flyers and social media posts to help locate him.
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons previously described Anthony as a Black male, approximately 5 feet tall, 103 pounds, with brown eyes and sandy-colored hair.
At this time, officials have not released additional details about where or how Anthony was found, but confirmed that he is safe and being reunited with his caretakers.

I hope there is someone with a door cam or if someone was driving by the house also do an investigation on the foster parents. Someone in the neighborhood must of see something
Anthony my PRAYER will save you. You will be found SAFE.
His foster parents did something to him. Police need to make this their priority and stop delaying!
Please don’t make those assumptions…. We as foster parents do the best we can to love these kids through their struggles. To say they did anything wrong is unfair. Kids in care have lived through so much, sometimes they act without thinking at no fault of anyone. They struggle to trust, therefore we can tell them we will be there, we can show them we care, but sometimes it is not enough
Hit dogs holler. If you’re a good foster parent, then shut up. Most of them are not worth a penny. And many of them do abuse these children. So just stop it.
How in the hell do you know!?!? Don’t start rumors unless you can back your accusation with proof!
Most likely family found out where he was and have him.
He might have been upset and left.
What neighborhood does he live in?
