A North Carolina woman is now facing serious charges after what police say started as a simple Walmart theft but allegedly turned into identity theft once she was confronted.

According to an arrest warrants, the incident happened on August 22, 2025. Investigators say Days-Hall allegedly took baby items and women’s clothing valued at $153.62 from Walmart without paying.

Authorities say after the suspected shoplifting incident, Days-Hall allegedly used the name and birthdate of another woman — identified in court records as Kimberly Faulk — in an attempt to avoid being criminally charged.

Because of the alleged false identity, investigators charged Days-Hall with felony identity theft.

Court records state the suspect allegedly used the victim’s personal identifying information “with the intent to fraudulently represent that the defendant was the other person” in order to avoid legal consequences.

Days-Hall now faces the following charges:

Misdemeanor Larceny
Felony Identity Theft

She has since bonded out of jail on a $10,500 bond.
