13-year-old Kaitlyn Johnson, who had not been seen since Thursday, November 7, has been found, according to her mother, Regina Johnson. Kaitlyn was last seen on the evening of November 7 at approximately 7:22 p.m. in a Johnston County neighborhood. She was seen getting into an unidentified white vehicle.
Regina Johnson, Kaitlyn’s mother, shared with The North Carolina Beat that her daughter had been struggling with mental health challenges. She suspected Kaitlyn may have gotten someone to pick her up, and Regina didn’t recognize the vehicle. A neighbor’s surveillance footage captured the white car.
