A man in Wilmington, North Carolina has been arrested and charged for operating an unlicensed massage therapy business from his home and for secretly recording his clients.
According to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Charles Herring was providing free massages at his residence on Kipling Court. He allegedly used a camera to covertly film and take pictures of clients during their massages, as stated in police warrants.
The sheriff’s office reported that Herring did not obtain consent from the victims. His arrest followed multiple complaints from individuals who had received massages from him.
