Salena Lynn Fleenor
Salena Lynn Fleenor found safe in Raleigh, North Carolina, after being missing for over two weeks, according to authorities. The 17-year-old from Roseville, Michigan, was located on May 7, 2025, at an extended stay motel during a joint operation by the U.S. Marshals Service and Raleigh police. A 26-year-old man, David Alexander Marshall Hertford, was arrested in connection with her disappearance.
Fleenor was last seen around 1:30 a.m. on April 20—Easter Sunday—leaving her home in Roseville. Surveillance cameras later captured her at a gas station in Metro Detroit. Additional leads placed her in a Clinton Township trailer park, but local search efforts yielded no results.

Roseville Police Department
On May 5, the Roseville Police Department escalated the case by bringing in the U.S. Marshals Service Missing Child Unit. Investigators learned that Marshall had allegedly traveled from North Carolina to Michigan, picked up Fleenor on May 4, and returned to Raleigh with her.

Thanks to that lead, authorities located both Fleenor and Marshall at an Extended Stay America motel on Capital Blvd on May 7, according to CBS 17. Marshall was taken into custody without incident and is facing charges including contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Authorities say more charges may follow pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
