Three individuals from Florida are in jail without the bail after police allege that they orchestrated a contract killing of a 17-year-old high school girl. The motive behind the crime was to prevent her from testifying in a sexual assault case involving one of the perpetrators.
According to the federal authorities, Lenard White is accused of hiring Keshawn Woods and Sheldon Robinson to murder Isabella Scavelli. This alleged plot came to light after Isabella and her mother went to the authorities in February to report that she had been assaulted.

In a press conference on Thursday, the Hernando County sheriff alleged that White had found the men through social media. He offered $5,000 to anyone willing to assist him with a “clean-up job.”
Authorities said Robinson and Woods went to the teenager’s home the following day and knocked on the door. When it opened, the men reportedly unleashed a hail of gunfire inside the house, resulting in the death of Isabell Scavelli and causing serious injuries to her mother, who managed to survive.
If all three men are convicted, they face either mandatory life in prison or the death penalty.
