According to authorities, the event happened June 8, 2025, in the early morning hours when over 100 people took over the parking lot, doing burnouts, blocking traffic, and creating a danger zone. It wasn’t just cars spinning out—it turned violent when shots rang out, leaving a bystander hit in the leg.

Police say Batts was the one who pulled the trigger, hitting a person during the madness. That victim survived with non-life-threatening injuries. After weeks of investigation, Batts was tracked down at his home in Lexington and taken into custody by Davidson County deputies.
