Charleston White Chokes man at a packed Winston-Salem comedy event, and the viral moment is sparking debate across social media.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – It was supposed to be laughs only — but things took a sharp left turn when a man rolled up blasting music at a packed Charleston White comedy show and ended up in a headlock.
Footage surfaced from a weekend comedy event featuring controversial internet personality Charleston White at ROAR, a popular family entertainment venue in Winston-Salem.
In the now-viral clips, a man in an electric wheelchair — pulling up with speakers in his lap blasting music. The song could be heard repeating, “violation n***, violation n****,”* as the crowd turned and looked in confusion.

It’s still unclear whether the moment was a planned publicity stunt or a real-life interruption.
Video shows the man to make his way toward backstage while the music continued to echo through the venue.
Moments later, Charleston is seen stepping off stage and approaching the man. Words appear to be exchanged — though the audio remains unclear — before another angle shows Charleston placing the man in a headlock.

But that wasn’t the only viral moment of the night.
In another clip, Charleston can be seen arguing with a woman in the audience, allegedly calling her out of her name. Things reportedly got heated enough that her man who was reportedly in the crowd appeared ready to confront him — but security presence was tight.

Multiple attendees said Charleston appeared to be “the most protected man in Winston-Salem” Saturday night.
