Family & Friends search for 71-year-old Miguel Hung
Mike mentioned that family, friends, and neighbors have been actively searching for Miguel and reaching out to anyone who might have home surveillance footage. They discovered Miguel‘s cell phone in a drawer at home, which contained numerous messages asking about his whereabouts.
Miguel Hung had heart attack, bypass surgery, and a stroke
His mental health issues began to escalate after he suffered a heart attack, underwent bypass surgery in 2019, and experienced a stroke in 2021, which left him with some aphasia.
“It had a really big impact on him,” Mike told People.com. “None of this kind of behavior happened prior to those medical incidents.”
A father of two and grandfather to five, Miguel retired from his job as a car salesman following his heart attack. He has been married to his wife, Pamela, for 45 years.
No red flags
Mike noted that there were no warning signs before his father‘s disappearance and that it was out of character for Miguel to get up in the middle of the night. In the past, he had gone missing twice, prompting Pamela to keep his keys in her wallet, but the family suspects he may have found a spare key this time.
