North Carolina has its first two coronavirus deaths, according to state health officials.
A Cabarrus County resident in their late 70s died on March 24. Officials say the patient had underlying medical conditions.
The other death was a Virginia resident in his 60s who was traveling through North Carolina.
Officials have identified the Virginia man as 66-year-old Landon Spradlin of Gretna.
