A lot of people think it’s funny when I refer to the stimulus check as “Trump Checks” but I think I spoke it into existence because there is now a delay on the checks so Trump can add his name.

Officials at the Treasure Department say the President is not adding his signature but his name will be added to the memo line with the phrase “Economic Impact Payment.”

In the history of our country, we have never seen a president’s name appear on a payment from the IRS.

I don’t know how the records will show for a direct deposit but for mailed checks, his name will be on it.

Engineers have to make a computer programming change and then test the system in order to insert Trump’s name on the checks, which will take time and likely cause a delay n the first batch of checks, two senior officials told the Washington Post.

On Tuesday, Twitter users let Trump HAVE IT!
