Racist State Trooper will not be charged for killing unarmed black man in Shallotte

Brandon & Trooper

A racist police officer has been cleared for killing an unarmed black man.

Friday, North Carolina State Attorney General Josh Stein said that Trooper Scott Collins “acted reasonably in the face of a deadly threat” when he shot and killed 28-year-old Brandon Lovell Webster on New Year’s Day of this year.

Collins, a known racist in Shallotte, North Carolina with a history of targeting black men has got away scot-free again. We all should’ve known the punk was going to get off when he wasn’t suspended during the investigation. He was on administrative duties until the investigation was over.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol initially said that Webster drove his vehicle straight towards the officer, but witnesses on the scene said that Collins was on the side of the vehicle when the truck took off.

Police have released a clearer version of the video that we released on January 6, 2019.

I think what happened here is that Collins was on the side of Webster’s vehicle when he drove off, but because the officer claimed his life was in fear, they decided not to charge the officer.

Police have decided not to release the Civitown Mini-Mart video footage, because it will show Collins on the side of Webster’s vehicle out of harm’s way.

Stein said he agreed with his criminal bureau chief that charges against Collins were not warranted.

Any untimely death is always a tragedy, but the evidence does not support filing criminal charges in this case, Stein said. Based on the video, audio, and witness statements, we have determined that a reasonable officer in this situation would have reasonably believed that the truck, rapidly accelerating toward him, posed an imminent threat of deadly physical force. As a result, Trooper Collins’ use of force was not excessive under the circumstances.

Police narrative of this incident is that Webster placed Collins in danger, but the truth of the matter is, a black man has always been a “threat” to a crooked ass cop. Collins couldn’t get Webster to listen to his commands, and as a result, he shot and killed him. Just because someone doesn’t listen to you, does not mean your life is in danger.

If Collins was a black man and Webster was a white man, his ass would have been fired, charged, and thrown in prison.

This is disgusting!!!!

  1. These kinds of scenes play themselves out everyday all over our country in black and brown communities. Beyond the many unarmed blacks killed by police, including recently Freddie Gray in Baltimore, other police abuses that don’t result in death foment resentment, distrust, and malice toward police in black and brown communities all over the country. Long before Darren Wilson shot and killed unarmed Michael Brown last August, there was a poisonous relationship between the Ferguson, Missouri, department and the community it claimed to serve. For example, in 2009 Henry Davis was stopped unlawfully in Ferguson, taken to the police station, and brutally beaten while in handcuffs. He was then charged for bleeding on the officers’ uniforms after they beat him.
