Two parents have named their child after the deadly coronavirus.

The couple said they wanted to name the babies after the virus because they wanted to spread happiness and not fear, according to TMZ.

Preeti Verma gave birth to a boy named Covid and a girl named Corona.

The twins were born on March 27 in India. The mother told a newspaper that she had difficulties during the delivery so she and her husband wanted to make it memorable.

Are these parents crazy or can you not tell people what to name their children?
