(Laurinburg, N.C.)– A North Carolina Judge has issued a warrant for the person accused of nearly killing a 25-year-old woman in March of this year.

Hoke County Court records show that 24-year-old Ashia Molick Bryant has missed court twice for the alleged attack on 25-year-old Alicia Jones.

Bryant is accused of beating Jones, to the point that she was completely unrecognizable, on a dirt road in Hoke County on March 09, 2019. (Click HERE if you missed that story.)

Police say that on May 8, 2019, Bryant was scheduled to appear in court on the charge of assault with a deadly weapon but did not show up.

A second court date was set for June 24, 2019, and Bryant did not appear on that date either.

Police say that Bryant is now wanted on charges for Failure To Appear.
