Jacksonville Yopp Rd Wal-Mart employee sent home after feeling ‘unwell’, wife tested positive for COVID-19

An employee who works at Wal-Mart located at 561 Yopp Rd. in Jacksonville, North Carolina is letting the community know that a man who works with him may have contracted the COVID-19 virus from his wife. 

Cody Adcock, an employee of Wal-Mart on Yopp Rd. said in a Facebook post that a man who works with him was sent home Friday after he started feeling “unwell”.

Adcock said the man’s wife tested positive for COVID-19 and he wanted to let the community know in case they have visited the Wal-Mart recently.

The post has been shared in other local groups such as this one and has been confirmed by relatives of those who work at this Wal-Mart.

 

Onslow County Health Officials have not released any information about this nor have they reported another case of COVID-19

Onslow County currently has four cases and no reported deaths.
