Coronavirus can spread through talking or even breathing

Health experts are learning more about the Coronavirus by the minute and releasing information to the public about what they are learning.

A scientific panel told The White House Wednesday night that research is showing that the coronavirus can be spread by talking, or possibly even just breathing, according to CNN.

While current coronavirus specific research is limited, the results of available studies are consistent with aerosolization of virus from normal breathing, according to Dr. Harvey Fineberg, chairman of a committee with the National Academy of Sciences.

Fineberg said that he started wearing a mask when he goes out to the grocery store. He also said that it’s possible that aerosolized coronavirus droplets can hang in the air and potentially infect someone who walks by later,  adding that coronavirus is not as infectious as measles or tuberculosis.
