Sunday afternoon, The North Carolina Beat learned that 91 North Carolinians are in the hospital fighting COVID-19.
Health officials say 1,104 have been tested positive and six people have died.
- Cabarrus County (2 Deaths)
- Buncombe County (1 Death)
- Rowan County (1 Death)
- Harnett County (1 Death)
- Johnston County (1 Death)
The state is up 81 cases from 1,023 reported Saturday.
New cases include Currituck and Alleghany counties.Â
Six people have now died from COVID-19 complications in Rowan, Cabarrus, Harnett, Johnston, and Buncombe counties, according to state officials.Â
