According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a collision occurred late Saturday night resulting in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to two others.
The incident, reported by Master Trooper Rico L. Stephens, took place at approximately 11:48 p.m. on NC Hwy 903 near NC Hwy 102. The crash involved a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Suhziah Spruill of Snow Hill, who was traveling at a high speed northbound on NC 903 before veering off the road and colliding with a guardrail.
Trooper Stephens noted that five passengers in the vehicle were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the car upon impact. Tragically, three of these passengers, identified as 22-year-old Nykwon Coppedge of Snow Hill, 18-year-old Zykhia Connor of Grifton, and 20-year-old Amoni Spruill of Farmville, lost their lives at the scene.
Following the collision, Suhziah attempted to stop traffic on the road and was fatally struck by a Kia Forte, as reported by Trooper Stephens.
Two surviving passengers, 20-year-old Chasity Kittrell of Snow Hill NC, and 21-year-old Aliana Spruill of Snow Hill, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to ECU Health Medical Center for treatment.

My heart aches at the loss of these 4 precious babies. They all were so full of life. Nykwon Khia and Zy I just seen you guys at separate times. Life is too short. I pray your families get the strength they need to get through this. I can’t imagine losing my sibling or my child. I pray everyone gets through this.
