(Charlotte, North Carolina)– (I’m going to keep saying it, and I don’t care who don’t like it.)

Another mass shooting could have taken place again in America and this time it would have been in North Carolina at Coulwood Middle School. But thankfully to students at Coulwood Middle School, the 13-year-old who would have been responsible is being charged for making the threat.

The 13-year-old posted on Instagram with a gun in the background stating that he was going to shoot up the middle school Thursday.

Police say they tracked down the boy behind the post and went to his home, where they spoke with him and his parents. He told officers that he did create the post, but it was a joke. No guns were found in his home, and police think get got the photo of the gun from the internet.

School officials said that extra officers will be at the school Thursday as a precaution.
